June 2019 Monthly Card Class cards

I had a wonderful time creating with my stamping friends at this month's Monthly Card Class last night.

These are the cards we made:

We did a lot of fun and different techniques that we haven't been doing lately.  AND we had a chance to play with the NEW Pigment Sprinkles.

A closer look:

We used the pigment sprinkles on Watercolour paper for our background and spritzed with water using the Stampin' Spritzer - some of us did rainbow stripes like this one.
All were different, all were great looking.
The fancy cut out card front is a card from the Bird Ballad Laser-Cut Cards & Tin.

The Daisy Lane stamp set has wonderful images in it.  I saw a card using the leaves from another demonstrator so thought we should try it.  We used the clear embossing technique on this one.
This is one of those cards that you need to see it in real life to realize how beautiful it is.
What do you think of this NEW In-Color - Pretty Peacock?

I couldn't wait to try the NEW 3-D Brick & Mortar Embossing Folder.  With a little added ink, it looks just like a real brick wall.  So cool.  We paired it with the Free as a Bird stamp set and did just a tiny bit of fussy cutting along with some punched out accessories.  Colouring with watercolour pencils and the blender pen can give such a soft look to your card.

I designed this next card for a card-making event that I attended last weekend put on by my friend Maree - the Inky Moose, up in Fredericton, NB.  She puts on the most wonderful Extravaganza's.
This was my Swap Card.
I liked it so much that I thought my class attendees would like to make it too.  A bit of water-colouring with ink and a bit of "colouring" with the Wink of Stella pen on the Shimmery White paper made for a soft look.   I'm NOT a pink person but this NEW In-Color Rococo Rose is really pretty.

Thanks for dropping by to visit.
Until next time,
Happy Stamping!!
